Reports to: Director of Marketing and Client Services
Exempt

Responsibilities
  • Implements marketing campaigns including planning and organizing marketing materials, developing mailing list; executing electronic and mail campaigns
  • Maintains promotional material inventory including coordination with Communications Team and Business Services, placing orders; verifying receipt and distribution to team members
  • Supports marketing staff by providing new product information and industry knowledge; documenting team meetings and tracking key deliverables
  • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data and customer survey results
  • Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market trends and competitive data; maintaining research databases.
  • Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.


Qualifications / Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, marketing or closely related field plus a minimum of two (2) years’ experience; or equivalent of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-directed and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of employee benefits and/or health insurance
