We are currently seeking an experienced IT Manager to be a part of our leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for the direction, coordination, and evaluation of the IT Team and its support to internal and external customers. This includes overseeing coding efforts and the performance and maintenance of the organization’s operational technology.  If you have the background we’re looking for, we are interested in speaking with you about this opportunity.

This position oversees staff responsible for the Windows Active Directory operating system, MS Exchange email system, Citrix, Terminal Services, Interactive Intelligence phone system, Hyland OnBase imaging system, SQL Server ODS, and a secure email system.

Additional responsibilities include management of the Business Continuity hardware and software infrastructure and testing, in-house custom software development, web site development and maintenance, web-based application development, and data warehouse development and maintenance.


Job Responsibilities

As the IT Manager, your primary duty will be to oversee the IT Team.  The IT Team consists of SQL Developers, Web Developers, System Administrators and a Database Analyst. 

Your specific duties will include:

  • Direct and oversee the IT Team
  • Organize, prioritize, plan & monitor projects on the IT Team
  • Utilize project management software to plan, organize & oversee workload
  • Analyze company needs and establish priorities for the IT Team
  • Perform high-level analysis and make recommendations for long term technology plan
  • Ensure security of IT systems
  • Oversee compilation of technology budget for the organization
  • Oversee development of IT infrastructure for business continuity planning
  • Oversee upgrades and new deployment of IT systems
  • Oversee SQL Developer work
  • Oversee Web Developer work on website, intranet and other web applications
  • Oversee Database Analyst work
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications / Skills Required

As the IT Manager, you must be highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to learn new concepts and to quickly absorb and apply new information. You must also have strong knowledge of the information technology field including hardware, software and standard concepts, practices and procedures. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact well with both internal staff, external members and vendors.

Specific qualifications for the position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in information systems, management information systems or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in IT Management
  • Experience with Project Management Office (PMO) fundamental operations and protocol
  • Familiarity with Windows Active Directory and MS Exchange
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity risk management
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational database technology
  • Familiarity with Citrix and Terminal Services
  • Familiarity with communications software
  • Familiarity with web site development technologies and maintenance techniques and procedures
  • Experience with Wrike, a plus
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, a plus
  • Prior employment with a healthcare data management organization or health plan, a plus
